The Art and Science of Writing Engaging Course Titles and Descriptions for Adult Learners (FLI Instructors)
Free
We often hear that first impressions matter in face to face interactions. But what about on a page? There's an art and science to writing engaging course titles and descriptions designed to spark curiosity, clearly communicate key learning outcomes, and invite learners to join you and others in exploring interesting topics, and building new skills. In this session you will learn some essential principles and strategies for writing effective course titles and descriptions. We will discuss, brainstorm, and practice ways to connect with your adult learners even before they enter the classroom. Whether you're designing a new course or revising an existing one, you will leave the session with practical ways to enhance your next course title and description.
