Forever Learning Institute

This course will explore the ways of visually exploring the world around you. The emphasis will focus on how artists, particularly painters and photographers, have used their mediums to enhance ways of seeing. We will also touch on elements of the visual through history in philosophy, psychology and religion. The course will steer participants to utilize simple capture tools, such as their phone's camera, to put these thoughts to use in their everyday lives. No prior experience with photography is necessary, and cameras/cell phones are not required for the course.
