Have fun learning basic watercolor techniques through a variety of projects, helping you develop your own artistic style with solutions and tips that watercolor artists may find challenging. Tools you will need to buy: at Hobby Lobby, a set of Master touch watercolor tube paints ( the $35 set will work nicely- go on half-price days; it includes several brushes and a small palette). Please be sure to include a #10 round and a #6 round brush, as well as a 1/2 inch flat brush. You will also need a tablet of 140 lb cold-pressed watercolor paper ( I use Canson or Stratmore). Also, bring paper towels, a pencil, a kneaded eraser, a mounting board, masking tape, and two containers for rinsing your brushes. A $5 copy fee is due to the instructor at the first class. This class begins September 18 and runs through November 20.
