Learn practical photography techniques to get more from the camera you already own. Topics include composition, lighting, photographing people and pets, and camera settings. Whether you use a smartphone, point-and-shoot, or advanced camera, you’ll receive hands-on instruction, weekly assignments, and plenty of encouragement. Discover how photography can be both creative and fun.

Students will develop stronger speaking and singing skills gained through improved breathing, articulation, and phonation techniques. During the semester, they will work on one or two songs of their choice, which they will perform in a public recital during the last class.

Take your watercolor painting to the next level by refining your skills in drawing, composition, and brushwork. Learn how moisture, pigment, and paper interact while making intentional artistic choices that strengthen your work. Perfect for those who have never knitted or haven’t picked up needles in years. Learn to knit, purl, read patterns, and master basic knitting skills while creating a dishcloth. Bring to the first class: #7 knitting needles (straight or circular) and one skein of solid-colored 100% cotton yarn (such as Sugar and Cream or Peaches and Cream). Avoid spending a lot on supplies.

Have you been looking for a reason to pick up your flute again? Join our flute choir and ensemble program for an enjoyable musical experience with fellow players. Previous flute experience is required. Time will be available for those who would like extra assistance. Participants should bring a flute in playing condition, a music stand, tuner, and metronome. $5 copy fee is included in class cost.
