Build your wine knowledge by sipping and studying your way through some of the world’s most famous wine regions. Each session will feature 3-5 tastings, with a discussion of food pairings, tasting notes, and the history and geography of the region. Sharyl has hands-on viticultural and wine-making experience. The cost is $25 per session. This session meets Friday, May 15.

The City of Mishawaka was founded in 1833, decades before her larger neighbor South Bend. Join us for a historic walking tour of Mishawaka’s parks, led by town historian, president of the Mishawaka Historical Museum, and author Pete Dekever. Starting at Mishawka’s Beutter Riverfront Park, we’ll visit historic sights and gain a knowledge of Mishawaka’s history, from humble origins to industry powerhouse to modern day growth. Participants must be able to walk about 1.5 miles and stand for approximately 75 minutes. This opportunity is $10, and all proceeds will support both the Mishawaka Historical Museum and Forever Learning. Max of 50

Beat the winter chill and stay active with our Forever Open Gym! On select Tuesdays throughout the winter semester, the gym will be open from 12:00–2:00 PM for walking, light dancing, stretching, or simply gathering with friends. Whether you want to keep moving, stay social, or enjoy a warm indoor space, this free offering is open to all FLI participants. Come whenever you like! Registration is used to communicate in the event of a closing.
