An introduction to the French language for those with no (or very limited) prior experience. The emphasis will be on learning to speak French and engage in basic conversation. French culture will be included in each weekly lesson. Students should purchase :Language Hacking French by Benny Lewis for $19.95 on Amazon. This will provide structure to the class and make it easy for students to practice (hopefully daily) in between our class sessions.

Tue11 Understanding Your Pelvic Floor: The Foundation of Core Health

Learn about pelvic floor anatomy, function, and common conditions such as incontinence. This seminar covers proper pelvic floor contractions (“Kegels”), the relationship between the pelvic floor and core muscles, and conservative treatment options. Open to all, with emphasis on female anatomy. Presented by a certified pelvic floor specialist. This one day class is Tuesday, September 29.
Thu43 Advanced Spanish Language Conversation & Practice

This course will give students the opportunity to practice Spanish conversation based on practical everyday topics. The level of the students will be assessed on day 1 of the class to help tailor the course to their particular ability levels, interests and needs. Most of each class will consist of Spanish conversation in small groups. Class will begin Thursday October 1.

Remember those songs that beckoned you to dance because they told you what to do? These songs will spark the young adult that is still in you. Let's recall a time when you could just move and have a good time with friends. Here are some of the songs: Do the Freddy (Freddy and the Dreamers); The Twist (Chubby Checker); Do You Love Me (The Contours), The Hokey Poky, Shake (The Animals) and Do the Locomotion (Dee Dee Sharp). This is a dance party, lasting about an hour. This one day class is Tuesday, October 6.

Spend a day immersed in nature at Camp Friedenswald. Participants rotate through four camp-themed classes designed to deepen appreciation for the natural world. Lunch is included. Activities are labeled by difficulty level to accommodate varying abilities. This one-day event takes place October 21 and runs rain or shine, with indoor alternatives available if weather conditions require.
