Explore when each county was established, the origins of its name, notable people, Native American tribes, battles, forts, and historic maps. Learn about canals, railroads, agriculture, industry, parks, museums, festivals, courthouses, covered bridges, colleges, scenic attractions, and the stories that have shaped each county’s identity.

This will be a class about the South Bend Watch Company. We will discuss the need for high quality watches, a little about how they work, the company's origins, many of the people involved, products, location, ultimate demise and aftermath. For anyone who has an old pocket watch and would like to bring it to the class, the Instructor will remain afterward to provide any information he can about the watch.
